On December 2, the second batch of Chinese architectural heritage list of the 20th century was published jointly by the Chinese Society of Cultural Relics and the Chinese Architectural Society. Among the 100 construction sites selected nationwide, Fuling 816 underground nuclear project in Chongqing and Baoyun Building in the Palace Museum were selected as China's 20th century architectural heritage.            In addition to the 816 underground nuclear project, Chongqing University's modern building complex, the old site of the Central Bank, the Peasant Bank and the Meifeng Bank, the Roosevelt Library and the Central Library are also on the list.            It is not easy to be included in the list of Chinese architectural heritage in the 20th century. The following conditions need to be met            1. It is the witness and carrier of the great changes of Chinese society in the 20th century.            2. It is the crystallization and cultural portrayal of Chinese architectural wisdom in the past 100 years.            3. An Important Node in the Context of Cultural Development in the 20th Century            The successful selection of 816 underground nuclear project proves the importance of 816 to China's historical changes. 816 witnessed various stories of modern China and is a unique historical heritage.            Compared with the first batch of lists, the second batch of China's 20th century architectural heritage projects highlight the excellent traditional architectural styles and forms of China, and the projects in the cultural and educational categories, industrial heritage categories, residential categories, architectural complex and other aspects have increased compared with the first batch. In the second batch of China's 20th century architectural heritage list, including the Palace Museum Baoyun Building, the Chinese People's Revolutionary Military Museum, Gulangyu Modern and Modern Architecture Complex and other 100 buildings were selected.
